In 2008-2009 the RFDS conducted over 70,000 flights, evacuated morethan 36,000 patients and attended to over 270,000 patients in total.
Wings of Life contributes along with others from the community to ensure that the RFDS can continue to provide this valuable service to Australians through hosting and participating in numerous fundraising events predominantly associated with aviation.
Wings of Life also provides free trial introductory flights, aviation career advice and scholarships to inspire youth in aviation.
